Building repair maintenance team manages project technicalities, leading the team and coordinating efforts across various entities to meet deadlines and budgets

About the Work

  • Plan, organize, coordinate, direct, and manage multi-disciplinary work efforts. Oversee validation of products and materials ordered for projects to verify their conformance to specifications.
  • Monitor and assess construction performance and record construction activities to ensure compliance with construction documentation requirements.
  • Inspects work in progress, to assure that methods, materials, and equipment conform to approved standards.
  • Maintain and repair unit building
  • Inspect and diagnose problems and figure out the best way to correct them
  • Assemble and set up preparation work
  • Meet with clients to estimate repairs and costs
  • Keep detailed records of their work

About You

  • Knowledge of construction practices, principles of construction management, and project controls, with working knowledge in areas including scheduling, cost estimating, documentation, contract administration, and construction techniques.
  • Knowledge of personnel and project management techniques including budgeting, leadership, training, and business development.
  • Ability to provide leadership and training to other team members and manage project teams.
  • Ability to provide direct client contact and client care.
  • Able to communicate clearly and professionally with others including contractors, owners, and sub-consultants regarding work assignments.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in real estate development, or real estate-related disciplines such as project management, architecture, engineering,     construction management, or real estate investment.
  • Works well within teams and possesses experience coordinating/managing projects, meeting deadlines and budgets, and coordinating the efforts of team members.
  • Proactive and willing to take initiative with the ability to make decisions independently combined with an ability to work collaboratively.
  • High sense of urgency and ability to work independently.
  • Must have great attention to detail and work well under pressure.
  • Resourceful and able to assist in finding solutions and problem-solving.
  • Possesses a ‘no task is too small attitude’ and is a fast learner.
  • Architectural/planning experience and knowledge of AutoCAD are a plus.
  • Have a driver’s license and own transportation.
